Sefton Church Building

As a Grade 1 listed building, Sefton Church has a lot of history. The Friends of Sefton Church are helping to bring the fascinating story of our Church to this website very soon...

In the meantime, many thanks to Michael Allen for drawing my attention to the Wikipedia article on Sefton Church. Also check out this article on the British History Website.

Visiting the Church

Sefton is open to visitors every Bank Holiday Monday and Sunday afternoons in August from 2pm - 4.30pm. The church is also usually open on Monday mornings but we suggest that you confirm this before arriving. We are always happy to welcome visitors to the church by arrangement and would ask you to contact the Rector in the first instance - details are on the Contact Information Page

Please note that it is not always possible to arrange visits at less than 7 days notice and we would suggest that you plan your visit well in advance.

The Sefton Parish Church building has recently been diagnosed with a serious problem around the stained glass windows. The stone tracery work has been damaged over the years and requires repair and partial replacement. Quotes of over £50,000 have been received and although we have some savings, we need your help.
