Information contained within this website does not contain any personal or private information obtained or displayed without the express permission of the individuals involved.

Where possible, persons appearing in photographs displayed on this site have given permission directly to the webmaster. If any person requests the removal of their own image from the site (use the feedback form on the bottom of any page), this will be completed as soon as possible - in all cases within 7 days.

Prayers submitted via the website will be transmitted to the prayer group, this should be considered a public arena. Use of this service will be considered to be your permission to disseminate any supplied information.

Any communication with the Rector, Church Wardens, Prayer Group or Webmaster will be visible to the webmaster for the purpose of protecting the recipient from malware or spam. Messages will not be discussed with, forwarded to or stored by any third party.

The Webmaster, Sefton Church or Church of England have no control over content contained in any external websites entered via links from this site and cannot be held responsible for any views expressed.

Requests to join the email newsletter or joining the Friends of Sefton Church will require the storage of a Name and Email Address. This information will be used solely for the distribution of the newsletters and for no other purpose. For housekeeping and privacy reasons, all email addresses will be deleted yearly unless otherwise requested. All newsletters will contain instructions for the cancellation of subscriptions. Names and email addresses will be permanently removed from our system within 7 days of the receipt of such a request.

Compassion without borders


There are a number of audio and video recordings of services held at our church.

  • The latest is a video of the 2014 Nine Lessons & Carols service
  • An audio recording of the first of the new Family Service format which by coincidence was also the retirement service for Tony Nightingale, our Organist and Choirmaster
  • An audio recording of the Royal Jubilee service held at Sefton Church on Sunday 10th June 2012, a service of thanks and appreciation for Queen Elizabeth II in the 60th year of her reign
